We have an official figure for the number of active Enterprise seats as of April 4, 2024[1]. To calculate ARR from Enterprise as of June 12, 2024, we estimate the change in Enterprise seats since that date, add that to the May figure, and multiply the result by 12x the monthly cost of a seat. The price per seat differs among customers – there's evidence that OpenAI quotes $60 per seat for typical customers[2]; we use a value of $50 to account for discounts negotiated by large organizations. Our median estimate for the change in seats between April 4 and June 12 is 590,000[1.2.1].
